LASER/COPIER HEAT TRANSFER PAPER:
If you are using a black & white laser printer / copier, all HP Laser Printers, QMS 6100, Canon 2001 Image Plus, Canon 3200, or Xerox Doc Color 4 then you must use #P605 or P606 transfer paper
| Tip: Most
printers will print heat transfer paper with no changes in settings, but if
you are having any problems this should help. If the toner is flakey after
printing - the paper is printing to fast, set paper to a heavier stock and
If the paper is jamming, peeling or is tacky, the paper is printing to slow
- set printer to a thinner paper stock like bond paper. In a lot of Canon
printers the paper should be set to heavy 2 or 3 or if your printer supports
it - set to bond paper with a weight of 200 Grams. If the image is not
sticking to the shirt, you are not pressing long enough or not hot enough. |

This paper must be used with the ink jet or laser
transfer paper.
Transfer your image onto the ink jet transfer paper like normal
and then using a heat press, press your transfer onto the opaque
paper for 4 seconds. Then using a heat press, transfer the opaque
paper to the fabric. The opaque transfer sheet gives a transfer a
white background, so transfers show up on dark fabric.

Please Note:
If using a heat press, the temp. settings very from press to press. We suggest a heat setting of 350 degrees for most of our papers and a press time of 30 seconds. To remove the backing, slightly stretch the garment under one corner of the image, then peel the transfer slowly off the garment while warm. If you press too long of time the transfer backing will stick to the shirt. If the transfer is not set to the shirt, you need more heat. A good test is to print a bunch of little pictures on one sheet and cut out the pictures and transfer them to an old cotton cloth or old t-shirt at different heat settings and different press times. When done put the rag in a sink of water and swoosh it around. Look at the pictures and the best one is the heat setting you want.
