There are TWO CATAGORIES for security features -
OVERT (Active) Features and COVERT (Passive) Features

"A" - OVERT (active) FEATURES
~~ Used to identify an original document by sight and/or touch.

"P" - COVERT (passive) FEATURES
~~ Feature becomes apparent when a document is photocopied or scanned.
Additional action is required to activate this feature.

1. SECURE MARK^TM
   Security Watermarked Paper ~ "A"
   To Verify the document is an original, hold up to light to view watermark in the paper

    

2. SECURE RUB^TM
   Color Change Technology ~ "A"
   The Background Color, Color Panel or a Colored Icon changes color briefly when rubbed briskly.

    

3. ANTI-COPY COIN RUB^TM
   Coin Activated Security Back Print ~ "A"
   "Anti Copy Symbols and Words” are hidden on the back of the sheet.
   Rub a coin OR metal paper clip over the back of the sheet to activate this feature.

    

4. UV FIBER SECURE^TM
   Invisible Fiber Security ~ "P"
   Invisible fluorescent fibers and threads that can only be seen under a blacklight.
   Authenticate Documents with UV-Blacklight Pen
   available from Micro Format.

    

    

5. COLOR FIBER SECURITY^TM
   Visible Fiber Security ~ "A"
   Red and a Blue Fibers and Threads are visible in the security paper.

    

6. TONER BOND^TM SECURITY
   Paper Toner Fusion ~ "P"
   The paper surface is treated to fuse with inks and laser toner
   in an effort to prevent removal of computer printed information.

    

7. CHEMICAL TEST SECURITY^TM ~ "P"
   Chemical Stain Protection - Sensitivity to high and low polarity solvents, oxidants, acids and alkali.

    

8. DUO COLOR SECURITY BACKGROUND^TM ~ "A"
   A colored security background with two colors blending.

    

9. ANTI-COPY NUMBERING^TM ~ "A" and "P"
   
   • Red Dye Security Ink Numbering penetrates the paper fibers
   • Invisible Numbering Security Technology
   • Anti-Copy Fluorescent Numbering.

10. SECURE GLOW^TM ~ "P"
    Secure Glow Security Ink is printed on front of the sheet.
    When this ink is exposed to black light, the image is visible.

11. HOLOSECURE^TM LENTICULAR HOLOGRAMS ~ "A"
    An optical variable hologram with words or letters engraved as a latent image.

12. PREMIUM ERASURE PROTECTION^TM ~ "A"
    A special shaded area is printed over which sensitive information is computer printed.
    If the computer printed information is erased, both the data and the shaded background is removed.

     

13. METAL STRIPE SECURITY^TM ~ "A"
    FOIL SECURITY - A metallic foil strip or metallic foil logo appears on document.

     

14. ANTI-COPY WATERMARK^TM ~ "A"
    To verify the document is an original, tip the page toward a light source

     

15. MICRO LINE SECURE^TM ~"P"
    A SECURITY LINE created with a small font that requires magnification to become ledgible.

     

16. HIDDEN MESSAGE TECHNOLOGY^TM ~ "P"
    Words such as "UNAUTHORIZED COPY" - "VOID" - "COPY" appear on copy when document is photocopied or scanned.

17. SECURITY PHANTOM^TM ~ "P"
    A distinctive icon disappears when rubbed and when photocopied

     

18. SECURITY WARNING BANDS and BOXES ~ "A"
    Visible Security Warning acts as a deterrent to those considering making unauthorized copies.

      A visible Warning Band describes security features on the document
    • SECURITY BORDER^TM
      A Visible Warning Band on the edge around the sheet describes security features on the document
    • SECURITY BOX^TM
      A Warning Box on the back of the sheet contains a list of security features on the document

     

19. BATCH NUMBER PROTECTION^TM
    
    • UNIQUE PRODUCTION BATCH NUMBERS ~ "A"
      A Unique Product Identification Number provides positive document identification information.
      
    • INVISIBLE BATCH NUMBER ~ "P" ~
      Number is visible when viewed under blacklight.

       

20. UV SECURE^TM
    Ultra Violet Light Security ~ "P"
    Words Printed in Secure "UV Ink" on back of sheet are only visible when viewed under "black Light".

21. BASKETWEAVE^TM Safety Feature ~ "A"
    A distinctive Basket Weave Background appears on both sides of the sheet.
